Balance and Gait Training

Older adults are at much higher risk for serious injury and loss of independence following a fall. Improving your balance and optimizing your walking (or “gait”) are complementary skills, and both are necessary components of reducing your risk for falls. At Elite Pelic and Physical Therapy, we work individually with our patients to help them gain confidence in their balance and their walking efficiency and safety.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a technique used in physical therapy to target and alleviate muscle pain and dysfunction. It involves the insertion of thin needles into trigger points within muscles, tendons, ligaments, or near nerves, without injecting any medication. By stimulating these trigger points, dry needling aims to release tension, improve blood flow, improve range of motion and enhance overall musculoskeletal function.
